After waiting for sometime the blades of long grass moved and appeared the first cub of Krishna, in all its beauty and glory. It came out of the deep grass and sat near the edge of the grass. Luckily, it came and sat, about just 25 feet away from where our vehicle was standing and there was no hindrance between us. It looked directly at me as I clicked it.

During our last trip to Ranthambore in the very first Safari, we were standing near the platform on the bank of lake when we heard some alarm calls near the doodh bawdi area. As we wanted to go to check the source and reason of alarm calls by Sambhar deer, my friend Umesh Agarwal, who was in the other gypsy, advised us to stay as he had seen some movement in the long grass at the platform. We decided to stay there and wait.
