Grazing Tank

As we proceeded deeper into the vast grasslands of Dudhwa NP, we found few more Rhinoceros grazing there. These looked like huge tanks thriving on grass.

It was treat to watch them lazily grazing on the grass, which is their favourite fodder. It was amusing to watch them grasp the bunch of grass with their flexible large upper lip almost like an elephant does with its trunk. 

The upper lip of the rhino is very flexible and expandable and can be used almost like the palm of our hand for garsping bunch of grass etc.
