"Ped (Tree) Wali" the famous tigress of Dhikala Zone of Corbett National Park named so as She loves to climb on a fallen tree on Sambhar Road and now its cubs are also known to do the same.

This click was taken almost at the fag end of afternoon safari very close to Khinanauli FRH where we were staying. We were coming back from Paar region of Corbett National Park, and while on final approach of FRH, Sh. Umesh Agarwal pointed to the right where we saw this beautiful tigress slowly walking towards Sambhar Road.

We started clicking it, but my favourite 200-400 mm lans in my D500 Camera was too big for it was very close to our safari vehicles. The light was fading fast as it was already 18:32 and the spot was under the shades of dense folliage and trees and the light was very low, so I quickly picked my 70-200 mm f/2.8 mounted on my old camera body D7100 and started clicking the gorgeous tigress.

    Clciked at 90 mm, f/2.8, 1/200 Seconds, ISO 3200.
