On our first safari at Ranthambore in the last trip, my friend Umesh Agarwal saw some movement in the long grass at the platform so we decided to stay there and wait.
After waiting for sometime in the sun which was getting hotter every minute, some grass leaves moved and viola, there they were! - the ever active and beautiful cubs of Krishna (T-19). The first cub came out of the deep grass and sat on the edge. Within moments Krishna appeared from the grass and sat a little distance away - just enough as not to be bothered by her cubs while she rested and also to keep an eye on the surroundings for any probable danger.
As I clicked few pictures of the first cub, and was looking through the viewfinder of my camera, after a short while the second cub appeared in the viewfinder and sat just behind the first cub. It rolled over and started playing with the grass leaves as I clicked to my heart's content. Then it lifted its head and looked directly at me.
These beautiful cats are a treat to watch. They are so disciplined and content with what they have. Such majestic animals, do not hunt unless they ae hungry. Unlike humans, whose hunger in unsatiable despite needing so less to eat and survive.
