This beautiful Black-necked Stork (Ephippiorhynchus asiaticus) was soaring high over the Gairal FRH at CTR when we reached there at mid-morning on a cold but sunny January morning. The weather was very clear, there was not fog or haze and sun was bright and warm.

My friend and associate Nischal pointed this soaring beauty to me and Raminder. It was a delight to click it. The sky was so blue that Raminder commented "I have not seen the sky so clear and blue in ages".
