A Darter aka Snake bird caught a fish in the lake near us while we were waiting for the Tiger cubs to reappear from the grass near Bawdi. Our Gypsy was parked near the edge of the water on the far side of the lake away from other vehicles. The only other vehicle parked near us was the Gypsy in which noted famous wildlife videographer and documentary maker Mr. Nulla Matto was filming the scenery.
As I sensed the movement of Darter on my left, I turned my camera and clicked a few pictures. This is the first amongst those, as the darter just emerged from water holding the fish in its arrow like beak. Its neck’s reflection in water made a perfect bow shape.
