Great Hornbill Bird (Buceros bicornis) also known as Great Indian Hornbill or Great Pied Hornbill, flying across the river to the Huge Ficus trees on river bank on the far side. I was thrilled and picked up the camera, rested it on my bean bag on the pole of our gypsy and took some snaps.
After spending almost three safaries' time in Jan, 14 we were not able to spot any Tiger or leopard at Bijrani Range of Jim Corbett National Park despite several alarm calls. Though we were able to spot so many varieties of large and small birds and raptors.
We went to the Raita Pani and were standing in our Gypsy in the dry River Bed, when we saw this Great Hornbill Bird (Buceros bicornis) also known as Great Indian Hornbill or Great Pied Hornbill, flying across the river to the Huge Ficus trees on river bank on the far side. I was thrilled and picked up the camera, rested it on my bean bag on the pole of our gypsy and took some snaps.
